Polyurethane injection is the most common repair for basement leaks. Polyurethane injection is a versatile product used exclusively in the water proofing of concrete foundation walls and structures. Polyurethane expands twenty times its size. Its flexibility allows for the natural movement of the foundation. At BH Foundation Repair we use high pressure injection to resolve any water infiltration problem, even on actively leaking cracks. The process is as follows:
Fill cracks with hydraulic cement.
Drill into crack and install injection ports. Seal ports with verts.
Once hydraulic cement is dry, inject crack with polyurethane.
